Associate Payroll Specialist

As a key contributor to Pega’s Payroll Team, you will work alongside highly talented professionals assisting in all aspects of payroll operations for India. The Payroll Team may be globally spread out in the UK, Poland, India, Brazil and U.S., but remains a tightly knit team of top-notch technical specialists looking to add another strong member.

As a key member of the Finance team, you will be part of a fast-paced, payroll team processing monthly payrolls for India and be a crucial member of a multifaceted team with HR, Legal and Finance among others. You will work as part of the APAC payroll team and have exposure and growth opportunities in our operations across Asia and the Pacific Region.

What You'll Do at Pega:

• Work with members of the India payroll team to process a monthly payroll of 2,000 + employees in India,
• Support India payroll with Compliance and Labor law requirement.
• Process Payroll and accounting accrual entries for processed payrolls,
• Gain invaluable experience working in a fast-paced, high growth, extremely diverse environment.
• Knowledge of International worker regulations is added advantage.

Who You Are:

• Has 1 to 3 years proven track record of handling a, enterprise level payroll in India,
• Solid understanding of payroll processes and common Indian tax and compliance issues
• Understanding of accounting practices relating to payroll GL and accruals,
• Functional expertise in Excel.
• Works well in both team and individual environments,
• Good communication skills both oral and written,
• Established analytical and time management skills.

What You've Accomplished:

• Experience with India Payroll operations is required.
• Based out of Hyderabad location.
