Job Description

Purpose/Objective


    The Civil (WCS & ADITS/PH) is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and quality control of civil works in Hydro Pumped Storage Projects, specifically focusing on Water Conductor Systems, Access Adits, and Powerhouse structures. The role involves coordinating with design teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely and safe project delivery while maintaining engineering excellence and compliance with environmental and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities of Role


    - Design review, and execution of civil works related to WCS, ADITS, and PH structures. - Ensure alignment of construction activities with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. - Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and internal teams for seamless execution. - Ensure adherence to environmental, safety, and regulatory standards. - Conduct regular site inspections and audits to enforce safety protocols and quality control. - Manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers, supervisors, and site personnel. - Coordinate with other departments (electrical, mechanical, procurement) for integrated project delivery. - Maintain documentation

Technical Competencies


    Construction methodologies,Structural Analysis & Design,Risk Assessment and Safety Analysis,AutoCAD Software

Qualifications and Experience


    - Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering - 10+ years of experience in large-scale hydroelectric or infrastructure projects - Proven experience in Water Conductor Systems (WCS), Access Adits, and Powerhouse (PH) civil works. - Strong background in tunnel construction, underground works, and hydraulic structures
