  Overview of the Role

  The Accounting Control & Data QA Team ensures the integrity and validation of data held within the Aladdin Accounting Book of Record, which supports client valuation reporting and performance calculations.

  As a Senior Analyst, you will serve as the accounting subject matter expert within the team, managing complex Quality Control (QC) checks, producing valuation reports, resolving queries, and ensuring the accurate flow of information across internal stakeholders.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Perform core accounting control tasks including:

    • Managing quality control checks via the Aladdin dashboards

    • Facilitating smooth handovers of activities between regions

    • Producing periodic valuation reports (typically monthly) to agreed standards and timelines

  • Ensure timely resolution of queries and effective implementation of business controls

  • Drive global consistency in processes and procedures

  • Continuously enhance operational systems and workflows, including identifying training needs and implementing automation where possible

  • Escalate issues or concerns outside agreed service standards to the Team Leader

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Liaise with other operational areas and third parties as required

  • Provide effective solutions for escalated issues

  • Act as backup for the Team Leader when needed

  Must-Have Skills

  • Strong background in portfolio accounting

  • Experience in the Securities or Fund Management industry at a technical or leadership level

  • Proven problem-solving skills and high attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Effective client relationship management skills

  • Strong organisational and time management abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Finance-related qualifications (e.g., IOC, IMC)

  • Strong ability to analyse and mitigate operational risk

  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively

  Good-to-Have Skills

  • Prior experience working with the Aladdin platform

  • Exposure to quality control dashboards and data validation tools

  • Familiarity with automation tools or process improvement frameworks

  • Experience mentoring junior team members or acting as a point of escalation

  • Understanding of global handover processes and multi-regional team coordination

  • Ability to contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
