Associate Fund Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Fund Operations & Support:

• Coordinate with external service providers (fund administrators, custodians, auditors, brokers) to ensure smooth daily fund operations.
• Review and reconcile NAV statements, trade confirmations, fee calculations, and investor reports.
• Support the setup, launch, and ongoing administration of sub-funds under the VCC.

Portfolio & Trade Support:

• Assist with execution support, trade booking, and maintaining portfolio data.
• Monitor portfolio performance, exposures, and reporting metrics.
• Prepare internal portfolio dashboards and assist in regular portfolio reviews.

Compliance & Regulatory Support:

• Assist in compiling data and documents for MAS reporting obligations (e.g., Form 1, Form 25) under CMS license requirements.
• Maintain compliance registers and operational documentation aligned with Singapore regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with Singapore-based compliance officers and assist in internal policy implementation.

Investor Relations Support:

• Assist with investor onboarding, including KYC/AML checks in coordination with fund administrator or compliance consultants.
• Prepare investor reports, factsheets, and distribution notices as required.
• Maintain investor contact records and support investor query management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in fund operations, asset management, or financial services (preferably supporting offshore funds).
• Familiarity with Singapore’s CMS-licensed fund management framework and the VCC structure is a strong advantage.
• Working knowledge of fund accounting, NAV reconciliation, and compliance processes.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel and portfolio tools.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently while coordinating across time zones

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting Singapore fund managers or offshore fund structures (e.g., VCC, Cayman, Luxembourg).
• Experience in liaising with fund administrators and other service providers.
• Additional certifications such as CFA (any level), CAIA, or CPA are a plus.
