Associate Director

A Senior Delivery Manager / Associate Director oversees various aspects of projects within the retail sector, ensuring they are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget. You will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, task management, and coordination of project resources to meet objectives and timelines. Working closely with business and technology experts, you will assess requirements, define scope, create estimates, and produce project charters. An essential requirement is a good understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies. You will be responsible for multiple project aspects such as planning, scheduling, cost control, progress reports, quality, and reviews. Your role will involve driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, methodologies, and tools, ensuring ongoing optimization and innovation in project delivery. Proactively identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions is crucial for ensuring successful outcomes. Keeping abreast of the latest technologies and trends is necessary. Logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and collaboration abilities are essential traits for this role. You will report and escalate to management as needed, manage relationships with clients and stakeholders, and develop supporting documentation and materials to ensure solutions are easy to manage and repeatable. Providing technical guidance to the team, assessing team performance, and ensuring high customer engagement for the project are key responsibilities. Defining and tracking KPIs to measure project success, building proposals for new clients, and leading the development of proposals for retail projects are part of your duties. Participating in the recruitment process of technical resources and maintaining a high level of attention to detail are also important aspects of the role.
