About The Role
The role leads SEO and Meta channel strategy for the GCC and Flights business, with a clear mandate to drive organic growth and performance marketing at scale. It is responsible for crafting and executing data-led acquisition strategies across India and GCC, with a strong focus on high-intent traffic, sustainable revenue, and digital visibility. The scope includes strengthening MakeMyTrip’s presence on Google Search and optimizing performance across key meta platforms such as Skyscanner, Wego, and Google Flights. This role also collaborates cross-functionally to deliver seamless user journeys, expand market share, and cement MakeMyTrip’s leadership in the category.
What Will You Be Doing
- Defining and leading the SEO and Meta strategy for India Domestic Flights, International Flights, and the GCC region including KSA.
- Strengthening and scaling technical SEO foundations: Core Web Vitals, structured data, crawl budgets, and site architecture.
- Overseeing and optimizing thousands of dynamic landing pages based on routes, airlines, cities, and seasonal trends.
- Shaping and optimizing Meta product feeds and building strategic partnerships with Meta platforms for improved ranking and visibility.
- Driving performance and discoverability across key Meta platforms like Skyscanner, Wego, and Google Flights.
- Delivering sustainable growth in organic sessions, bookings, and revenue across both Google and Meta ecosystems.
- Collaborating with senior stakeholders in Product, Engineering, Content, and International teams to build scalable growth enablers.
- Building, mentoring, and inspiring a high-performing team of SEO analysts and content strategists.
Qualification & Experience
- MBA with 10+ years of progressive experience in SEO, with proven success in scaling SEO and Meta strategies for large-scale B2C platforms, ideally within the travel or e-commerce industry.
- Deep expertise in technical SEO, content strategy, and Meta flight optimization, with a strong understanding of industry best practices.
- Hands-on experience working with leading Meta platforms such as Skyscanner, Wego, and Google Flights Search (GFS) is highly desirable.
- Advanced proficiency in analytics and SEO tools including GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and business intelligence platforms.
