Role Overview: As the incumbent for this position, you are expected to be a good team builder, team player, and team leader. Possessing strong academic and administrative skills, you should be an effective communicator with a solid command in your field of expertise. Key Responsibilities: - Hold a Masters in Economics with a consistently good academic record, having attained at least 55% marks recognized by the AICTE / UGC. - Possess a Ph.D. or be a Fellow of Indian Institute of Management or an Institute recognized by AICTE and declared equivalent by the AIU. - Have a minimum of ten years of experience in teaching, industry, research, or professional roles, with at least five years at the level of Reader or equivalent, excluding the time spent on obtaining the research degree. - Alternatively, if from the industry, the following are essential: 1. Hold a Masters in Economics with consistently good academic record, meeting the 55% marks criteria recognized by the AICTE / UGC. 2. Have significant professional work experience recognized at a national or international level equivalent to a Ph.D., along with twelve years of managerial experience in industry or profession, with at least eight years at a level comparable to that of Reader or Assistant Professor. 3. Demonstrate published work of high quality, active engagement in research with evidence of at least 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC listed Journals, including Books, Research Periodicals, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy Projects, and filed Patents. Qualifications Required: - Masters in Economics with at least 55% marks recognized by AICTE / UGC. - Ph.D. or Fellow of Indian Institute of Management or equivalent. - Minimum of ten years experience in teaching, industry, research, or professional roles, with at least five years at the level of Reader or equivalent. - Published work of high quality with evidence of at least 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC listed Journals. - Desirable qualifications may include teaching, research, or professional experience in a reputed organization, published work like research papers, patents filed / obtained, books, or technical reports, experience in guiding project work or supervising R & D projects, demonstrated leadership in planning and organizing academic, research, industrial, or professional activities, and capacity to undertake or lead sponsored R&D consultancy and related activities.,
