See your commute Join us an Assistant VP Quantitative Analytics. Design and development of reusable frameworks and libraries for model development, execution, and analysis. Responsibility for the implementation of the models through complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC ) utilizing python and DevOps tools following best practices. Essential skillsets required for this role: A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related fields. Strong Computer Science fundamentals. Demonstrable experience in software development, covering the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with a strong understanding of software design patterns. Expertise in Python development. Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Bitbucket, and TeamCity. Proficiency in technical documentation. Skilled in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements. Effective stakeholder management and ability to deliver as per agreed timelines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Some other highly valued skills may include: Experience in a financial institution delivering analytical solutions, model implementation, and productionization Experience with Model deployment frameworks and workflows (e.g databricks, kedro) a plus Experience in developing frameworks for mathematical, statistical, and machine learning models and analytics used in business decision-making Experience in designing and developing concurrent software solutions and performance benchmarking. This role is based out of Noida location. Purpose of the role To design, develop, implement, and support mathematical, statistical, and machine learning models and analytics used in business decision-making Accountabilities Design analytics and modelling solutions to complex business problems using domain expertise. Collaboration with technology to specify any dependencies required for analytical solutions, such as data, development environments and tools. Development of high performing, comprehensively documented analytics and modelling solutions, demonstrating their efficacy to business users and independent validation teams. Implementation of analytics and models in accurate, stable, well-tested software and work with technology to operationalise them. Provision of ongoing support for the continued effectiveness of analytics and modelling solutions to users. Demonstrate conformance to all Barclays Enterprise Risk Management Policies, particularly Model Risk Policy. Ensure all development activities are undertaken within the defined control environment. Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources of information, internal and external sources such as procedures and practises (in other areas, teams, companies, etc).to solve problems creatively and effectively.
