Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all store/warehouse operations within the manufacturing unit.
Maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials, consumables, spare parts, packaging materials, and finished goods.
Develop and implement efficient material handling, storage, and issuing processes.
Ensure timely receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming materials as per purchase orders.
Coordinate with procurement, production, quality, and maintenance teams for material requirements.
Ensure proper identification, labeling, and storage of materials to prevent mix-ups or damage.
Monitor and control slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete stock; initiate disposal or return processes.
Maintain systematic stock records through ERP, SAP, or other inventory management systems.
Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with safety, 5S, and environmental standards within the store area.
Optimize space utilization and material flow for smooth manufacturing operations.
Manage inward/outward logistics, loading/unloading, and transport coordination.
Prepare monthly inventory reports and share key metrics with management.
Implement FIFO/LIFO/FEFO inventory control methods as applicable.
Train and supervise store staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
Safeguard materials from theft, damage, or deterioration through proper security measures.
Coordinate with finance for GRN (Goods Receipt Note) posting, material cost updates, and stock valuation.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
