Job Title: Assistant Sales Manager
Location: Pune & Gurgaon
Job Summary:
The Telesales Manager will be responsible for leading, managing, and motivating a telesales team of around 30+ Executives & Assistant Manager to achieve sales targets, ensure excellent customer service, and drive business growth. This role involves performance monitoring, training, coaching, and implementing effective sales strategies to maximize productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Management
• Lead, mentor, and manage a telesales team of 100+ executives & Assistant Manager .
• Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for individuals and the team.
• Monitor performance, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
• Ensure the team follows company sales scripts, compliance policies, and quality standards.
Sales & Strategy
• Develop and implement telesales strategies to drive revenue and meet business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and retain customers.
• Track KPIs such as call volumes, conversion rates, lead generation, and revenue.
• Analyze sales data and prepare regular reports for senior management.
Training & Development
• Provide training and coaching to improve communication, sales techniques, and product knowledge.
• Onboard new hires and ensure smooth integration into the team.
• Identify skill gaps and arrange refresher training sessions.
Operations & Process Management
• Ensure efficient use of CRM systems, call scripts, and sales tools.
• Monitor call quality, customer interactions, and adherence to compliance standards.
• Manage shift scheduling, attendance, and team discipline.
• Work closely with marketing and operations teams to support lead generation and customer engagement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of telesales/inside sales experience with at least 7-10 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record of managing large telesales teams (30+ people).
• Experience in [insert industry: BFSI, Telecom, EdTech, etc.] preferred.
