Kauvery Hospitals is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant or Deputy Nursing Superintendent to support the nursing management team in delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in overseeing nursing operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and promoting best practices in patient care.Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Nursing Superintendent in managing daily nursing operations, including staff scheduling, patient care coordination, and quality assurance.- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and hospital policies to provide the highest standard of care.- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and standards of practice.- Support nursing staff in clinical decision-making and provide mentorship and guidance in patient care.- Participate in nursing assessments, care planning, and evaluations to enhance patient outcomes.- Contribute to staff training and development through orientation programs and continuing education opportunities.- Monitor nursing performance, analyze data, and implement improvements to meet organizational goals.- Address patient and family concerns effectively and ensure patient satisfaction.Skills and Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; Master’s degree or additional certification is an advantage.- Valid nursing registration with the relevant nursing council.- Proven experience in a nursing leadership role, ideally in a hospital setting.- Strong knowledge of nursing procedures, healthcare regulations, and best practices.- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.- Ability to lead and motivate a team, as well as work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.- Proficient in using healthcare management software and electronic health records (EHR).Tools and Technologies Required:- Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems- Nursing management software- Communication tools (e.g., email, collaboration platforms)- Data analysis tools for performance metrics- Standard medical equipment used in patient careKauvery Hospitals is committed to providing a supportive work environment that fosters professional growth and development.
