Role Description

  • As a Training Manager for a specific vertical, you'll design, implement, and manage learning programs, ensuring they align with organizational goals and meet the needs of employees within that vertical, while also evaluating program effectiveness and making improvements. 
  • Responsible for the end-to-end management of learning programs within a specific vertical. This includes needs analysis, program design, development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
  • The Training Manager will work closely with stakeholders within the vertical to ensure that training programs are relevant, effective, and contribute to the achievement of business objectives. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify training needs and prepare the Annual Calendar, manage budgets, oversee delivery by internal or external trainers, and track the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Design and develop learning programs, utilizing various learning methodologies (e.g., online courses, workshops, simulations, on-the-job training).
  • Conduct regular needs assessments to identify learning gaps and opportunities within the assigned vertical.
  • Manage the implementation and delivery of learning programs, ensuring they are delivered effectively and on time.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs using various metrics and feedback mechanisms, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders within the vertical, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of learning activities, participant progress, and program outcomes.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in Talent Development
  • Collaborate with other L&D team members and external vendors as needed.
  • Manage resources, including time, and personnel, to ensure successful program delivery.
  • Knowledge on any LMS Tool and Instructional Design will be an added advantage


Qualifications

  • Experience in Supervisory roles and strong Communication skills
  • Proficiency in Training & Development, including Training program design and delivery
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Ability to assess training needs and evaluate program effectiveness
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or related field
  • Experience in the technology sector is a plus
