We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager to join our Learning & Development (L&D) team and drive performance excellence across our field sales organization.

The Role

The Assistant Manager - Training & Development will be responsible for enhancing the skills, knowledge, and performance of the field sales team in the Telangana region. This role requires a blend of hands-on training delivery, content customization, stakeholder management, and L&D project execution. The ideal candidate must be a proactive self-starter with excellent communication skills in multiple languages.

Key Responsibilities

• Field Sales Training:

  Conduct regular and intensive training sessions for the

  field sales team

  on product knowledge, sales techniques, soft skills, ACT processes, and compliance, with a primary focus on the Hyderabad and Warangal operational areas.

• New Hire Onboarding:

  Design, coordinate, and deliver the end-to-end

  new hire training program

  for all sales joiners to ensure a rapid and effective ramp-up to productivity.

• Regional Support:

  Be available to travel to field as required to conduct on-the-ground training, coaching, and performance support.

• Learning Initiatives:

  Act as a local champion to

  drive central learning initiatives

  from the corporate L&D team, ensuring timely and effective implementation across the assigned regions.

• Pilot Programs:

  Pilot and deploy new learning methodologies, content, and tools

  . Gather feedback, analyze results, and recommend scalable solutions to the central L&D team.

• Needs Analysis:

  Partner with Sales Leadership and HR to conduct regular

  Training Needs Analysis (TNA)

  to identify skill gaps and propose relevant training solutions.

• Content Customization:

  Adapt central training content to reflect regional market specifics, challenges, and local sales processes to maximize relevance and impact.

• Performance Monitoring:

  Track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of training programs using key sales metrics (e.g., productivity, conversion rates)

• Coaching:

  Provide post-training

  one-on-one coaching

  and field-side support to reinforce learning and drive behavioral change.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience:

  4+ years of experience in Learning & Development, with a significant portion dedicated to

  sales training

• Language Proficiency:

  Fluency is required in Telugu, Hindi & English

• Domain Knowledge:

  Strong understanding of the

  Field Sales Cycle

  and sales methodologies. Experience in the Telecom, ISP, or service industry is a strong plus.

• Communication & Presence:

  Exceptional platform skills and the ability to command a room, facilitate engaging sessions, and effectively manage diverse learner groups.

• Technical Skills:

  Proficiency in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or virtual training tools.

• Education:

  A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field

• Base Location:

  Hyderabad, Telangana
