Job Description

As an Assistant Manager / Manager Sales with 4+ years of experience in consultative sales or business development, you will be responsible for establishing first contact, nurturing relationships with key decision-makers, and supporting the closure of strategic, revenue-generating deals. Your preferred industry focus will include FMCG, Lubricants, Paint & Adhesive, BFSI, Agro & FMCD. You will need to identify and engage potential clients across various sectors and build strong relationships with key decision-makers to drive closures. Understanding client needs through market research and translating insights into actionable briefs will be crucial. Additionally, you will be required to drive new opportunities via referrals, networks, and proactive outreach to grow the business pipeline. Your role will involve owning the full sales process from pitch to closure, including negotiations and structuring complex deals. Managing existing accounts to maximize revenue, drive upsells, and ensure long-term satisfaction will also be part of your responsibilities. Effective coordination with internal teams for proposal creation, presentations, and execution alignment is essential. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce; an MBA in Marketing is considered advantageous. A minimum of 4 years in B2B consultative sales or business development roles is required, along with demonstrated success in client acquisition and closing high-value deals, particularly in FMCG or related sectors. Familiarity with sales to multi-stakeholder decision-making environments, strong negotiation skills, storytelling abilities, and proficiency in proposal writing are essential characteristics. High energy, dependability, attention to detail, and excellent verbal/written communication skills are expected. Knowledge of FMCG ecosystems, including trade channels, consumer behavior, and anti-counterfeit regulations, is beneficial. Prior experience in Loyalty, Brand Rewards, or Consumer Engagement platforms will be a strong advantage for this role.,
