Role Overview

Assistant Manager APB Sales & Business Development

Key Responsibilities

Achieve assigned sales targets (volume and value) for DG Sets / Gensets / Silent Generators.
Identify and develop new business opportunities across industrial, commercial, and institutional customer segments.
Build strong client relationships by providing end-to-end support (pre-sales, sales, and post-sales).
Conduct technical discussions with clients (load calculations, solution fitment, sizing).
Collaborate with internal teams (Service, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance) for seamless order execution.
Manage and support
channel partners, distributors, and dealers
to strengthen regional presence.
Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify risks and opportunities.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines for winwin outcomes.
Ensure timely reporting of sales performance, pipeline, and market intelligence to senior management.

Skills & Competencies Required

Proven track record in
B2B/Retail sales of DG Sets / Silent Generators / Gensets
.
Strong
business development and customer acquisition
skills.
Excellent
communication, negotiation, and presentation
abilities.
Technical knowledge of
power generation products, load sizing, and installation
requirements.
Ability to thrive in a
field-intensive sales role with frequent travel
.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to independently manage a sales territory.
