Job Description

Role Purpose-

-Responsible for identifying hazards in the premises and provide Safety training to all employees to avoid any accidents while on job. Thereby achieve company's goal of Safety first. Take care of general administration of the plant.

-To follow and ensure best safety practices and its implementation.


Roles & Responsibilities-

  1. To monitor & implement SOP's for safety so as to build safe working environment by ensuring adherence of safety norms,
  2. To execute risk assessment & KYT (Danger prediction) process as per the plan to control/minimize the positional hazard in the process,
  3. To co-ordinate with the respective dept. head to set the safety process parameters,
  4. To organize monthly departmental audits for all the plants in order to ensure safe practices & environment for the Employees,
  5. To conduct the plant safety inspection/safety patrol throughout the plant to ensure to identify/minimize the unsafe acts /condition,
  6. To prepare the safety manual and update on frequent intervals in order to ensure the correct safety standard,
  7. To implement the work permit system in order to regulate the non-routine works,
  8. To ensure quality and availability of PPE,
  9. To monitor effective information/ reporting system to avoid injury in the plant,
  10. To coordinate with all departments to provide assistance in analyse all accidents and take countermeasures,
  11. To monitor all statutory compliance and timely updation of necessary documents pertaining to EHS,
  12. To make aware to the management regarding safety updates,
  13. Monitoring of CCTV,
  14. Safety patrol / Auditing related with EHS and fire safety preparedness,
  15. Review and monitoring of safety budget plant wise and BU wise,
  16. To improve safety of man and machines through implementation support of preventive tools for ensuring safety across all plant areas,
  17. To support in administrative activities as per requirement.

Role Requirement-

Job Location- Taloja, Navi Mumbai,

-Diploma/B. Tech. (Mechanical); degree/diploma in industrial safety (must have),

-ADIS certification must have,

-NEBOSH certification,

-5-8 years of total experience,

-Industry preference- Auto/Construction/Engineering (no project base)
