Assistant Manager- Safety & Administration

As a Safety Officer at our company located in Taloja, Navi Mumbai, your role is crucial in ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and visitors. Your primary responsibilities include identifying potential hazards, providing safety training, and overseeing the general administration of the plant. By adhering to best safety practices and implementing safety protocols, you will play a key role in achieving our goal of prioritizing safety above all else. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and implement SOPs for safety to establish a safe working environment - Execute risk assessments and Danger prediction processes to minimize hazards - Coordinate with department heads to set safety process parameters - Conduct monthly departmental audits to ensure safe practices are followed - Perform plant safety inspections to identify and minimize unsafe conditions - Prepare and update safety manuals regularly to maintain correct safety standards - Implement work permit systems for regulating non-routine work - Ensure quality and availability of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Monitor information/reporting systems to prevent injuries - Coordinate with departments to analyze accidents and implement preventive measures - Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and update necessary EHS documents - Keep management informed about safety updates - Monitor CCTV systems and conduct safety audits related to EHS and fire safety - Review safety budgets plant-wise and business unit-wise - Implement preventive tools to enhance safety for both personnel and machinery across all plant areas - Support administrative activities as required Qualifications Required: - Diploma/B.
