Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for providing support in engineering review, testing, FAT, and commissioning activities. You should have knowledge of Protection setting calculation, scheme, and configuration of various make Relays and BCU. Your role will involve supporting RCA, FMEA, and Diagnosis of all CRP-SAS-Communication. Additionally, you will be required to provide day-to-day coordination of all control & protection related issues and offer real-time support to the site team for testing, commissioning, and O&M issues. You will also be involved in reviewing Protection schemes, requirements, setting, coordination, and configuration during the Engineering design and commissioning stage. Monitoring & reviewing of Periodic testing of control & protection systems will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Support engineering review, testing, FAT, and commissioning activities - Knowledge of Protection setting calculation, scheme, and configuration of various make Relays, BCU - Assist in RCA, FMEA, and Diagnosis of all CRP-SAS-Communication - Coordinate all control & protection related issues on a daily basis - Provide real-time support to the site team for testing, commissioning, and O&M issues - Review Protection schemes, requirements, setting, coordination, and configuration during the Engineering design and commissioning stage - Monitor & review Periodic testing of control & protection systems - Maintain database & records with analytics for Testing and maintaining of substation equipment, Protection System, SAS, communication for all stations & CCR - Conduct protection audits of all substations - Optimize inventory and procure new inventories as per requirements - Ensure quality assurance, safety, and environment standards through a well-defined review mechanism - Check all substation protection, SAS, communication schemes - Understand Electrical EHV substation, EHV Transmission line, Power plants, plant related equipment, and Auxiliaries - Travel frequently to site locations as per job requirements - Maintain a database for system, equipment, Tripping, occurrences - Monitor substation events and occurrences on a daily/routine basis and prepare relevant reports/data to support RCA & Troubleshooting - Collect data for Occurrence Analysis (RCA), Reporting, Troubleshooting Qualification Required: - Educational Qualification: BE / B. Tech in Electrical - Experience: 4 to 10 Years,
