The Engineer designs, reviews, and analyzes assignments normally involving a major project or several smaller or less complex projects. These projects, by nature of their complexity and difficulty, require the fully competent application of conventional knowledge in a particular field of engineering or science. Through broader and more technically challenging work assignments, you will develop a thorough understanding of policies, methods, and procedures. Under the supervision of an experienced engineer or engineering manager, you will perform detailed engineering review of plans as assigned for compliance with applicable Rules, Regulations, and contract commitments. You will propose technical advice to field operations and other technical offices. Your work will involve conventional engineering practices but may include moderately complex problems such as resolving conflicting design requirements, material standards, or coordinating activities among other disciplines. Possession of a seagoing engineering license or professional/chartered engineer license is preferred. Knowledge of related technical disciplines is essential for this role. As a Protection Engineer, you will be responsible for providing support in various areas including engineering review, testing, FAT, and commissioning. You will possess knowledge of protection setting calculation, scheme, and configuration of various relays and BCU. Your role will involve assisting in RCA, FMEA, and diagnosis of CRP-SAS-Communication systems. Additionally, you will play a key role in coordinating control and protection related issues on a day-to-day basis. Your support will be crucial in testing, commissioning, and addressing O&M issues in real-time. You will be required to review protection schemes, settings, configurations, and requirements during the engineering design and commissioning stages. Your role will involve engineering, application, and solution architecture design of OT (SCADA/Sub-Station Automation) System to ensure timely delivery of projects and adherence to quality standards. You should have working and hands-on expertise in control & protection, Relays, IEDs, EHV Switchyard, SAS, SCADA, Cybersecurity aspects, and various audits. Your responsibilities will include developing and integrating SCADA, PLC, RTU, SAS, and RONC (Central control and command center) for all renewable Power Plants. Moreover, you will handle all cybersecurity-related matters including SAS, SCADA, and related network with IT and OT network interface.
