Role Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive PSS Lead to oversee the electrical operations, maintenance, and commissioning activities of Pooling Substations (PSS). The PSS Lead will be responsible for managing the team, coordinating all activities related to PSS, ensuring safety compliance, timely project execution, and efficient power evacuation through pooling substations. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all electrical operations and maintenance activities at Pooling Substations (PSS). Supervise and mentor engineers and technicians working on PSS projects and operations. Manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to meet project objectives. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. Minimum 7-10 years of experience in electrical operations, maintenance, and commissioning of substations, preferably Pooling Substations (PSS) or EHV substations. Proven leadership experience managing teams in power transmission or substation projects. In-depth knowledge of electrical switchgear, transformers, protection systems, and substation automation. Strong understanding of procurement processes including PR, PO, and invoice management. Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and statutory compliance in power sector. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities under tight deadlines. As a Protection Engineer, you will be responsible for providing support in various areas including engineering review, testing, FAT, and commissioning. You will possess knowledge of protection setting calculation, scheme, and configuration of various relays and BCU. Your role will involve assisting in RCA, FMEA, and diagnosis of CRP-SAS-Communication systems. Additionally, you will play a key role in coordinating control and protection related issues on a day-to-day basis. Your support will be crucial in testing, commissioning, and addressing O&M issues in real-time.
