Job Summary

:We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our finance team as an

Assistant Manager – Project Finance

, who can contribute to evaluating projects, structuring finances, project appraisals, funding strategies and managing lender relations that directly support the company’s growth and expansion plans. This role offers exposure to end-to-end project funding, financial modelling, and collaboration with leading banks and investors.

Responsibilities

:
  • Assist in financial modelling, project appraisal, and evaluation of new/existing projects.
  • Support in preparation of feasibility studies, business plans, and project reports.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy aligned with the company’s goals.
  • Assist in raising debt and equity project finance from banks, NBFCs, and investors; coordinate with lenders for due diligence, compliance, and disbursements.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flows; ensure adherence to financing terms and covenants.
  • Collaborate with senior management and finance teams to ensure accurate and consistent messaging
  • Prepare MIS reports, presentations, and updates for management and stakeholders.
  • Conduct risk analysis and sensitivity analysis for projects
  • Stay updated on sector trends, financing schemes, and government regulations related to project finance.
  • Assist in managing finance and accounts for subsidiary companies, including coordination for statutory audits.
  • Support preparation and analysis of financial statements and audit reports.
  • Work on financial ratios, trend analysis, and benchmarking to assess project and business performance.
  • Provide actionable insights through financial analysis to strengthen management decision-making to improve profitability and achieve long-term financial goals. 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • MBA (Finance) / CA Inter / CFA (preferred) with 2–3 years of relevant experience in project finance, corporate finance, or investment banking.
  • Strong knowledge of project finance structures, financial modelling, and valuation methods.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Power Point, Tally and financial analysis tools.
  • Good understanding of banking processes, credit appraisal, and due diligence.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for dealing with senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple assignments.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
