Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager – Industrial Engineer (HVAC) will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure high-quality output within HVAC manufacturing. The role requires a deep understanding of industrial engineering principles, HVAC systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct time and motion studies, line balancing, and work measurement to improve productivity.
• Develop and implement lean manufacturing techniques such as 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
• Design, improve, and maintain efficient workflows, layouts, and workstations for HVAC assembly and production lines.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Production, Maintenance) to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Evaluate and suggest changes in methods, processes, or equipment to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in capacity planning, manpower planning, and equipment utilization.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Support implementation of new product lines or process modifications.
• Maintain documentation and reporting related to industrial engineering activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–8 years of experience in Industrial Engineering, preferably in HVAC or heavy manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, value stream mapping, and process optimization.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other design/layout software.
• Experience in value engineering, Six Sigma and cost analysis is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
