Job Description

As a Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for supporting business teams in drafting, vetting, and negotiating agreements mainly related to business development, international business, trusts, and other activities. Your role will involve advising on and structuring agreements to align with the deal in hand and ensure that the interests of the Company are protected. You will work closely with stakeholders at various locations to ensure necessary statutory compliances are in place. Additionally, you will provide general legal advice and support by acting as a business partner to internal stakeholders and dealing with both internal and external stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Drafting, structuring, vetting, negotiating, and finalizing agreements in line with the business understanding to ensure appropriate risk mitigation for the Company. - Reviewing statutory compliances at various locations, suggesting remedial measures, and working with concerned stakeholders to implement these measures promptly. - Understanding the business, analyzing risks, and advising on mitigating liabilities for the Company. - Advising stakeholders on various legal issues as needed. **Qualifications Required:** - LL.B. / LL.M. degree **Knowledge and Skills:** - Proficiency in drafting, vetting, and negotiating various agreements within India and internationally. - Exposure to Statutory Compliances, Litigation, and Intellectual Property law would be advantageous. - Strong negotiation skills, business acumen, and financial acumen. - Excellent communication and drafting skills, including the ability to draft high-quality agreements and other legal documents. - Demonstrated professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas in understanding how businesses operate. - Ability to influence at all levels of the business, work independently, and exercise sound judgment and risk-mitigating skills. **Behavioural Attributes:** - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Excellent judgment and analytical skills. In addition to the above requirements, any other licenses, certifications, or specialized training will be considered as an added advantage.,
