Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

1. Overseeing the movement distribution of goods within a supply chain ensuring efficiency and cost effectiveness.

2. Coordination inbound and outbound shipments selecting carriers and negotiating rates.

3. Working with suppliers and customers to establish favourable contracts and rates.

4. Managing and controlling logistics expenditures.

5. Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) analysing data and identifying areas of improvement.

6. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations taxation and standards.

7. Facilitating the establishment of commercial connections between customers and suppliers.

8. Developing procedures and systems for scheduling and tracking procurement and distribution operations.

9. Liaising with Customers Suppliers and employees to ensure proper documentation as well as adherence to delivery schedules.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:

    Graduate or Post Graduate or equivalent qualification with recognized university.
  • Experience:

    4-5 years in SCM & Logistics.
