Role Overview

Assistant Manager – Lender Operations

We are looking for a

detail-oriented professional

to join our

Lender Operations team

. The role will be responsible for

coordinating with lenders, internal stakeholders, and sales teams

to ensure smooth execution of lending processes, from

deal approvals to disbursements

. The ideal candidate will have

strong process orientation, excellent coordination skills, and an understanding of financial/lending workflows

.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Case Preparation & Deal Publishing: Review case documentation from internal teams and publish approved cases to lenders with complete and accurate information.
  • Lender Coordination & Matching: Identify suitable lender partners based on defined criteria and coordinate with them for meetings, discussions, and requirements.
  • Personal Discussions (PDs): Schedule and facilitate PDs with lenders, attend alongside Credit team to capture key insights, and manage follow-up discussions as required.
  • Sanction & Post-Sanction Activities: Coordinate sanction approvals with lenders, maintain sanction records, and oversee post-sanction formalities such as agreements and documentation.
  • Fund Flow & Disbursement Management: Ensure timely execution of disbursements, confirm receipt of processing fees, and track periodic income/interest collections from lenders.
  • Query Resolution: Act as the point of contact for lender queries and coordinate with Sales, Credit, and Customers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Process & Compliance: Maintain updated records, adhere to compliance standards, and track SLAs and TAT to keep cases on schedule.
  • Reporting & Improvements: Update internal systems in real time, generate MIS reports, and suggest process improvements for smoother lender operations.
  • Evaluate and align each deal with the most suitable lender by analyzing key financial details of the case and mapping them against the lender partner’s sourcing parameters.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA/Postgraduate degree in Finance, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in lender operations, or related role.
  • Strong knowledge of lending processes, documentation, and due diligence.
  • Proficiency with CRM/loan management systems and MS Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of financials and ratio analysis.
