About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team at Jain Ankit & Co. This role is both technical and managerial—providing direct support in financial and compliance work while also guiding the Articles and Accountant Assistants. The Assistant Manager will serve as the bridge between senior Chartered Accountants and the execution team, ensuring quality, timelines, and effective collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss accounts, and financial reports for management.
• Ensure timely statutory compliance (TDS, GST payments, return filings).
• Support in statutory, tax, and transfer pricing audits.
• Maintain accounts in line with ICAI Accounting Standards and IFRS.
• Supervise, guide, and mentor Articles and Accountant Assistants, fostering team ownership and accountability.
• Act as the point of coordination between senior Chartered Accountants and the wider team.
• Demonstrate leadership by example, encouraging professionalism, discipline, and a collaborative approach.

Qualifications:

• CA Finalist / CMA Finalist (must have completed articleship).
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of post-articleship experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, and compliance functions.

Proficiency in:

• MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Microsoft Teams
• Tally (daily use in firm operations)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership qualities: ability to reduce team dependencies, instil ownership, and lead by example.

Must be based in Dehradun or willing to relocate immediately.
