The Magic Bus Centre-Based Skilling program on life and employability skills enhances young people's agency by equipping them with the necessary competencies and helping them secure sustainable service-sector jobs. Mobilizing young people to come to the MB Livelihood centres is a critical program component. Each physical centre mobilizes youths from various channels. The youths primarily come to the centre from a radius of 10-20 km. The Manager Mobilization at the regional level will play a crucial role in leading Magic Buss effort to mobilize young people across the region and in building a strategy around it. It includes identifying and reaching out to potential channels, opening up various pipelines for mobilization, building partnerships with NGOs, Institutions, schools, social media, and communities, and ensuring a steady pipeline of youth into our programs.

The incumbent will be part of the Operations team, which closely collaborates with the centre team. In the role, the incumbent will play a strategic and operational role in supporting Magic Bus's livelihood vertical, operationalizing mobilization efforts from the center to the regional level, including providing strategic support to the center-level mobilizers. This role requires a leader with a strong background in youth connection, youth mobilization, program management, including people management, monitoring, and evaluation of mobilization effectiveness. The role involves ensuring high-quality programme results, mentoring regional teams, and building strong systems of mobilization for scale.

Role Description

We are seeking an Assistant Manager - Talent Acquisition ( Mobile HR)to join our team, based in Noida . The Assistant Manager will play a key role in hiring processes, including sourcing and screening candidates, conducting interviews, facilitating the negotiation process, and coordinating the onboarding. Additionally, the role involves managing HR operations, enforcing company policies and procedures, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Role & responsibilities

A) Recruitment:

  • Manage the hiring of Non field and Field vacancies for the assigned zone
  • Travelling to field locations for sourcing local candidates and walk in drive
  • Executing sourcing strategies to fulfil the requirement with strong adherence to TATs assigned for the vacancies.
  • Ensuring utilisation of company sourcing channels Job Boards, Recruitment Consultants,social media, print media, Referral schemes, IJPs, walk ins.
  • Planning and executing Virtual drives, walk in drives, Coordination with candidates on field and travelling to various locations for planned walk-in drive.
  • Building a pipeline of high-quality talent for field resources
  • Oversee and manage internal and external position postings, employee referral programs, including targeting specialized sites like LinkedIn, Naukri, IIM jobs, Indeed and various NGO domain portals ensuring broad visibility and securing responses from diverse candidates.

B) On boarding

  • Ensure efficient onboarding of new employees and orientation on the organizational objectives and respective roles.
  • Ensuring on boarding documents are complete and employee codes are generated within the given timeline.
  • Preparing Dashboards and trackers .

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent work experience/ MBA
  • Open to travel for onsite hiring,
  • 3+ years of proven experience in talent acquisition and HR operations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with an ability to interact effectively
