Prepare, review, and file sales and use tax returns for multiple jurisdictions accurately and timely.
Reconcile tax liabilities and ensure proper documentation for tax filings and audits.
Conduct research on sales and use tax laws, regulations, and updates to ensure compliance.
Analyze tax data, including sales transactions, exemptions, and use tax accruals.
Assist with tax audits, responding to inquiries from tax authorities, and providing necessary documentation.
Maintain accurate tax records and ensure proper documentation for exemption certificates.
Identify tax-saving opportunities and ensure the correct application of tax rules to transactions.
Support internal departments (such as accounting, procurement, and sales) by providing tax guidance and training.
