Assistant Manager - Direct Taxation

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize the company’s direct tax position
• Prepare and review corporate tax returns and related filings
• Monthly TDS computation and assistance with monthly TDS payments
• Preparation of data and filing TDS returns on quarterly basis
• Issuing TDS certificates
• Reconciliations of TDS receivable and TDS payable for audit purpose
• Knowledge of SAP for tax accounting and clearing
• Review of tax documents and contracts (domestic and international) from tax perspective.
• Maintain accurate records and schedules for tax submissions and reconciliations and assistance in tax litigation
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Proven experience in airline operations, tax litigation and tax contract
  

Education

• Chartered Accountant
  

Good To Have

• CA with 5+ years of experience willing to work in direct taxation
• Knowledge of direct taxation and various tax compliances including international tax
• Should be well versed with DT compliance requirements
