About the role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Assistant IT Project Manager to help plan, track, and deliver small to mid-sized technology projects. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams, maintain project schedules, manage risks/issues, and keep stakeholders informed—learning best-practice delivery along the way.

What you’ll do

• Assist with project planning: scope, timelines, budgets, resourcing, and success metrics.
• Maintain project plans, RAID logs (Risks/Assumptions/Issues/Dependencies), and status reports.
• Coordinate daily/weekly stand-ups, sprint planning, and retros with engineering, QA, design, and business teams.
• Track progress against milestones; escalate blockers and propose mitigation options.
• Support vendor management: quotes, SOWs, deliverables, and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate UAT, organize test plans/test cases with QA, and track defects to closure.
• Document decisions, meeting notes, change requests, and lessons learned.
• Support rollout/launch activities and post-implementation reviews.
• Champion process improvements and consistent use of project templates.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s / Master's degree in related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–3 years in IT/Software projects (internships, campus projects, or entry-level PM/BA/QA experience welcome).
• Basic understanding of Software Projects.
• Strong organization, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with project tools (e.g., Jira, Trello/Asana, MS Project/Smartsheet, Confluence/Docs, Excel).
• Ability to analyze data, create dashboards, and present concise updates.
