Assistant Director Food & Beverage

Role Overview: As a Manager in Food and Beverage at The Ritz-Carlton Pune, your role involves providing leadership and direction to all Food and Beverage outlets and staff. You will be responsible for managing the daily activities, monitoring performance, and ensuring operational policies and procedures are maintained. Additionally, you will assist in developing and managing the strategic plan for the Food and Beverage division, including budget administration, forecasting, inventory, and cost control. Your focus will be on creating marketing and promotional opportunities to attract clientele from the local market. Key Responsibilities: - Provide leadership and direction to all Food and Beverage outlets and staff, including Restaurants, In Room Dining, Caf Services, and Beverage outlets. - Monitor the performance of the Food and Beverage management and service teams. - Ensure compliance with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and regional Alcoholic Beverage Commissions guidelines. - Assist in developing and managing the strategic plan for the Food and Beverage division. - Manage the development of the Food and Beverage outlet management team. - Create and implement marketing and promotional opportunities to attract local clientele. - Research market trends and recommend operational changes to maintain guest satisfaction. - Maintain strong knowledge of food and beverage trends within the hospitality industry. - Ensure proper training of Food and Beverage outlet teams in sanitation, food safety, and customer service. Qualifications Required: - High school diploma or GED with 4 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area. OR - 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major, with 2 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
