Assistant Director Food & Beverage

As the Food and Beverage Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Pune, your role involves providing leadership and direction to all Food and Beverage outlets and staff, which includes Restaurants, In Room Dining, Services, and Beverage outlets. You will be responsible for managing daily activities, monitoring performance, and ensuring that operational policies and procedures are maintained. Additionally, you will verify compliance with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and regional Alcoholic Beverage Commissions guidelines. Key Responsibilities: - Provide leadership and direction to all Food and Beverage outlets and staff - Monitor the performance of the Food and Beverage management and service teams - Develop and manage the strategic plan for the Food and Beverage division - Manage the development of the Food and Beverage outlet management team - Create marketing and promotional opportunities to attract clientele from the local market - Ensure all outlet teams are properly trained in sanitation, food safety, and customer service Qualifications Required: - High school diploma or GED with 4 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, culinary, or related professional area OR - 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major, with 2 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, culinary, or related professional area The Ritz-Carlton is committed to being an equal opportunity employer, valuing and celebrating the unique backgrounds of its associates.
