Assistant Credit Manager

Job Description

The role involves handling credit assessment, PD (Personal Discussion), underwriting of loan files, and ensuring accurate risk evaluation before loan disbursal. The candidate should have strong analytical skills and prior NBFC/Banking credit experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Personal Discussion (PD) with customers for loan assessment
• Perform credit underwriting of loan applications
• Verify customer background, income documents & repayment capacity
• Ensure compliance with credit policies and risk management guidelines
• Coordinate with sales & operations teams for smooth loan processing
• Maintain credit MIS and submit reports to senior management
• Handle escalations related to credit approvals/rejections

Requirements:

• Graduate / Post Graduate (Finance/Commerce preferred)
• 3 years of experience in Credit / Underwriting (NBFC/Banking sector)
• Minimum 1 year of PD (Personal Discussion) experience
• Strong knowledge of credit policies, risk analysis & financial documents
• Good communication, negotiation & decision-making skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel & loan processing systems

Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹21,000 per month
