We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to support our finance department in daily accounting operations, tax filings, and financial reporting. The candidate must have prior experience in Income Tax and GST filing and be willing to relocate to the job location.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing daily accounting operations including data entry, accounts payable, and receivables.
Support in preparing financial statements such as Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow reports.
Handle GST registration, return filing, reconciliation, and related documentation.
Assist in Income Tax computation, TDS deductions, and return filing.
Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records.
Assist with payroll processing and statutory compliance documentation.
Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and vouchers.
Coordinate with senior accountants and auditors for financial reviews.
Support in preparing reports for management and audit requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.
Practical knowledge of GST and Income Tax filing is mandatory.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally / QuickBooks / Zoho Books).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to relocate to the job location.

Preferred:

Experience assisting in audits and statutory compliance.
Knowledge of MS Excel and reporting formats.
