Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Accountant role based in Patiala. The Assistant Accountant will handle day-to-day financial transactions, maintain financial records, and assist in preparing financial reports. Responsibilities include accounts payable and receivable, budget tracking, invoice reconciliation, and assisting in audits. The role requires strict attention to detail and collaboration with the finance team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial management, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and budget tracking
• Familiarity with accounting software and financial reporting tools
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Understanding of compliance with financial regulations and audit processes
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Proven experience or coursework in accounting; a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
• Knowledge of tax regulations and familiarity with financial documentation processing is an advantage
