We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team and manage all financial activities, ensuring compliance with GST, EPF, ESI, TDS, and other statutory requirements.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of GST, EPF, ESI, TDS, and other statutory requirements. This role involves managing all accounting functions, including bank reconciliation, maintaining party ledgers, preparing balance sheets, financial reporting, and handling sales and purchase bills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting and Financial Management:
• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Statutory Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with GST, EPF, ESI, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
• Prepare and file all necessary returns in a timely manner.
• Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
• Bank Reconciliation:
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintaining Party Ledgers:
• Maintain and reconcile party ledgers to ensure accurate financial records.
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
• Balance Sheet and Financial Reporting:
• Prepare balance sheets, profit, and loss statements, and other financial reports.
• Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the CFO’s attention.
• Sales and Purchase Bills:
• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of sales and purchase bills.
• Other Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development and documentation of business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Handle additional accounting duties as assigned by the management team.

Qualifications:

• MBA in Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role.
• In-depth knowledge of GST, EPF, ESI, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
