Job Description

Job Summary

The Asset and Configuration Manager will oversee the management and optimization of IT assets and configurations ensuring alignment with business objectives. This role requires expertise in Tivoli Workload Scheduler and a strong understanding of IT Security and Marketing & Branding domains. The position operates in a hybrid work model during day shifts with no travel required.

Responsibilities

Manage and optimize IT assets and configurations to align with business objectives and improve operational efficiency.
Utilize Tivoli Workload Scheduler to streamline workload management and ensure timely execution of tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IT asset management strategies with marketing and branding initiatives.
Implement IT security protocols to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Develop and maintain documentation for asset and configuration management processes to ensure transparency and accountability.
Analyze asset performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Provide training and support to team members on asset management tools and best practices.
Monitor and report on asset utilization and configuration changes to ensure optimal performance.
Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to manage asset procurement and lifecycle management.
Lead efforts to automate asset tracking and configuration management processes for increased efficiency.
Ensure alignment of asset management strategies with overall IT and business goals.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance asset and configuration management capabilities.
Support the development of policies and procedures for asset and configuration management to ensure consistency and compliance.

Qualifications

Possess extensive experience in Tivoli Workload Scheduler demonstrating the ability to manage complex scheduling tasks effectively.
Have a strong understanding of IT Security principles and practices to protect company assets.
Experience in Marketing & Branding is preferred showcasing the ability to integrate IT strategies with business initiatives.
Demonstrate excellent analytical skills to assess asset performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Exhibit strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Show proficiency in documentation and reporting to maintain transparency in asset management processes.
