About the Role

Senior AI Developer

You will lead the end-to-end re-architecture of a production AI platform that generates stories, illustrations, and audio using multimodal AI. This role demands a technical leader who can design for scale, reliability, and creativity.

Key Responsibilities

AI Architecture & Engineering

• Lead the full redesign of backend, frontend structure, AI pipelines, and database architecture.
• Build modular, scalable AI systems combining text → image → audio generation workflows.
• Architect intelligent prompt orchestration, model routing, caching, retries, job queues, and error-recovery logic.
• Implement robust pipelines using

  Stable Diffusion / SDXL / Flux

  for illustration generation with character identity control and style consistency.
• Develop multimodal workflows integrating LLMs (GPT/Claude), image models, and TTS models.

Backend & Infrastructure

• Build backend architecture using

  Python or Node.js

  , designing clean, scalable API layers.
• Deploy on

  Replit, AWS, Vercel, Docker

  or similar cloud environments.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and scalable infrastructure.
• Implement authentication, security, payments, logging, analytics, and admin dashboards.

Data & Vector Workflows

• Use

  vector databases

  (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, Redis Vector) and embedding workflows for memory and retrieval.
• Integrate content review systems, storage layers, and asset pipelines.

Performance & Reliability

• Reduce failure rates, optimize latency, improve throughput, and enhance resource efficiency.
• Create clean developer environments with proper documentation.

Collaboration

• Work closely with product owners to shape the technical roadmap and milestones.
• Mentor junior developers and guide future technical decisions.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of AI development experience.
• Expertise in

  GPT, Claude, LLM APIs

  , and fine-tuning workflows.
• Strong skills in

  SDXL, Flux, or similar image generation models

  .
• Strong Python or Node.js experience.
• Deep understanding of embeddings, vector DBs, and multimodal pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of

  TTS systems

  (ElevenLabs, Azure TTS, PlayHT).
• Experience with cloud deployments and scalable architectures.
• Strong prompt engineering and pipeline design experience.
• Experience with job queues, caching, retries, and monitoring.
• Understanding of secure authentication + payment integrations.
• Excellent debugging, optimization, and documentation skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience deploying on
