Job Description

Job Summary: The Sales Manager will drive the sales strategy and execution for our EdTech solutions. This role is responsible for managing a sales team, developing relationships with key stakeholders in educational institutions, and achieving sales targets. The Sales Manager will also be responsible for identifying new opportunities in the market, enhancing the customer acquisition process, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Team Management: - Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets. - Provide continuous training and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance. - Conduct regular performance reviews with team members, setting developmental goals. - Sales Strategy Development: - Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the customer base. - Analyze market trends and competitors to identify opportunities and threats. - Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. - Customer Relationship Management: - Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and educational institutions. - Address customer concerns and feedback to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. - Coordinate post-sales follow-ups for customer support and upselling opportunities. - Sales Operations: - Oversee the sales pipeline, manage lead generation efforts, and track sales metrics. - Prepare sales reports and forecasts to present to senior management. - Utilize CRM tools to manage customer data and track interactions effectively. - Collaboration: - Work collaboratively across departments to ensure alignment with business goals and strategies. - Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote our solutions. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education Technology, or a related field; an MBA is a plus. - Experience: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the EdTech sector. - Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and managing teams. - Skills: - Strong leadership and motivational skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in CRM software and data analysis tools. - Ability to think strategically while paying attention to detail.
