Research and Development Engineer

As a Research and Development Engineer in Robotics and IoT at TIOT Systems Pvt Ltd, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and testing cutting-edge robotic systems and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct extensive research to explore and identify new technologies and methodologies within the realms of robotics and IoT. - Design, develop, and validate advanced robotic systems, encompassing both hardware and software components. - Collaborate closely with software engineers to craft embedded systems and IoT frameworks that drive product innovation. - Develop intricate algorithms for seamless sensor integration, data processing, and control systems. - Build and evaluate prototypes and models to test and refine concepts and designs effectively. - Perform rigorous system testing and troubleshooting to uphold optimal performance and reliability standards. - Document research findings, designs, and specifications meticulously for project documentation. - Engage in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure project success. - Foster collaboration with various teams such as product management, manufacturing, and marketing to align project objectives and timelines. - Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in the fields of robotics and IoT. Qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Robotics, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - Demonstrated experience in the research and development of robotics and IoT solutions. - Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or Java. - Hands-on experience with robotic platforms like ROS, Arduino, and Raspberry Pi. - Familiarity with sensors, actuators, and embedded systems design. - Knowledge of wireless communication protocols like MQTT, CoAP, Bluetooth, and Zigbee. - Exposure to data analytics and machine learning concepts is advantageous. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in both independent and team environments. - Excellent communication skills for presenting technical information and ideas effectively. Preferred Qualifications: - Previous work experience in a similar role within the robotics or IoT industry. - Familiarity with CAD software for mechanical design, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD. - Understanding of cybersecurity principles relevant to IoT devices.
