Our offerings include scrubbing and buffing pads, floor protectors, anti-slip solutions, and dust-control mats to ensure buildings remain clean, safe, and visually appealing. We also provide solutions to refurbish existing surfaces – from walls to lifts to glass – enhancing both interior and exterior aesthetics.
The Cleaning Workspace Safety vertical focuses on partnering with Facility Management companies, Building Service Contractors, and resellers to deliver a unique brand experience across every facility. We engage stakeholders at every step – from specification and installation to daily cleaning and maintenance.
Role Overview
The selected candidate will be responsible for Sales and Business Development activities for the Cleaning Workspace Safety vertical in India, based out of Bengaluru.
Key responsibilities include promoting the brand experience concept to stakeholders in FM companies, building service contractors, quick service restaurants (QSRs), hotels, and commercial properties in the South region. The role also involves expanding the customer and channel base, developing innovative solutions for customer pain points, identifying new segments, and maintaining strong key account relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Key Account Management
Build and manage strong customer relationships with a customer-first approach.
Understand customer priorities and align 3M solutions to address their needs.
Establish long-term connections at multiple decision-making levels.
2. Driving Specifications
Work with FM companies, floor contractors, QSRs, and end customers to incorporate 3M specifications in annual tenders and contracts.
Map stakeholders, track competitor activities, and establish strong relationships.
Identify segment partners and align them with 3M’s quoting strategy.
Develop appropriate pricing and margin strategies.
3. Developing Upcountry Market
4. Sales Execution
Own sales execution for floor care and surface care in the South region.
Manage forecasting, inventory tracking, order collection, billing, payment collection, and issue resolution.
Achieve and exceed sales and collection targets.
5. Pipeline Management
Manage accounts, leads, opportunities, revenue schedules, and call logs using SFDC (Salesforce).
Ensure strong pipeline visibility and timely updates in SFDC.
6. Collaboration and Market Development
Work with marketing and technical teams to execute campaigns, convert leads to sales, and plan technical training programs.
Drive concept selling and value-based sales by understanding product FAB (Features, Advantages, Benefits).
Develop new applications and penetrate untapped segments.
Qualifications & Experience
MBA with a proven sales track record.
8–10 years of core sales experience.
Strong understanding of Cleaning Business operations.
Experience in dealer/distributor management (preferred).
Ability to conduct seminars and product demonstrations for large customer gatherings.
Hands-on experience in concept selling and specification incorporation.
Operational knowledge of SFDC (Salesforce) is a must.
