Job Summary:

Area Sales Manager

KRA:

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Manage and expand the distributor and dealer network across assigned regions.
Monitor secondary and primary sales performance and report on key metrics.
Train, supervise, and motivate the field sales team to ensure productivity and target achievement.
Conduct regular market visits to assess market potential, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
Ensure effective execution of promotional campaigns and product launches.
Liaise with the marketing and production teams to align sales goals with supply and brand strategy.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for senior management.

Requirements:

Graduate in any discipline; MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in FMCG sales (preferably in edible oil or food segment).
Strong knowledge of local markets in Basti, Sant Kabir Nagar, Siddharth Nagar, Tanda.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage field sales teams and distributors.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Must be willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
