Job Summary:

Area Sales Manager


KRA:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Manage and expand the distributor and dealer network across assigned regions.
  • Monitor secondary and primary sales performance and report on key metrics.
  • Train, supervise, and motivate the field sales team to ensure productivity and target achievement.
  • Conduct regular market visits to assess market potential, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Ensure effective execution of promotional campaigns and product launches.
  • Liaise with the marketing and production teams to align sales goals with supply and brand strategy.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for senior management.


Requirements:

  • Graduate in any discipline; MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in FMCG sales (preferably in edible oil or food segment).
  • Strong knowledge of local markets in Basti, Sant Kabir Nagar, Siddharth Nagar, Tanda.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage field sales teams and distributors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
