Job Description

As a Retail Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to manage the entire E-T-B-R process (Enquiry, Test Drive, Booking, Retail) effectively. This includes planning and executing activations for generating enquiries, ensuring the quality and quantity of test drives, and maintaining the accuracy and authenticity of booking data. Your goal will be to achieve retail targets, focusing on improving the conversion ratio and ensuring the accuracy of DMS data. Additionally, you will be required to plan sales for the upcoming months and enhance manpower productivity by identifying training needs and providing effective motivation and rewards. Another key aspect of your role will involve driving digital conversion by encouraging the adoption of various digital tools such as Test Drive anytime anywhere (TDAA), Personal voice assistant (PVA), Bring Showroom Home (BSH), Virtual Reality (VR), and Tablets to maximize conversion ratios. You will also be responsible for ensuring the adequacy and quality of Digital engagement managers and working on reducing dealer market outstanding, liquidating aging stock, and forecasting for the future months. Your preferred industries will include Consumer FMCG/Food and the Automotive Industry. You should hold an MBA or Post Graduate Diploma in Management with a general experience of 3-8 years in Core Automotive Sales or FMCG sales. Critical experiences required for this role include credit management, consumer focus, manpower management, dealer relationship management, sales planning, and market acumen. In terms of core skills, you should possess the ability to manage credit effectively, focus on consumer needs, handle manpower efficiently, build and maintain dealer relationships, plan manpower effectively, understand market dynamics, plan sales strategies, and develop capabilities within the team. Secondary skills that would be beneficial for this role include change management, consultative selling, ensuring statutory compliance, designing customer experiences, financial management, identifying customer needs, gathering market intelligence, managing order processes, performance management, having in-depth product knowledge and application, especially in Hybrid Vehicles, optimizing territory coverage, and managing working capital efficiently.,
