Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Location: Chennai & Coimbatore

Experience: Minimum 4 Years (Field Sales Furniture/Interior Industry preferred)

Employment Type: Full-Time

CTC: Negotiable (Based on experience & performance)

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage sales operations within the assigned territory to achieve sales growth and revenue targets.

Plan, assign, and monitor daily visits to dealers, distributors, and furniture manufacturers to promote Edgeband and related furniture products.

Develop new business opportunities by identifying and acquiring new dealers, OEM clients, and retail partners.

Strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business, customer satisfaction, and brand loyalty.

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets as defined by management.

Conduct product presentations, technical demonstrations, and price negotiations with key clients and business partners.

Gather and report market intelligence regarding competitors, pricing trends, customer demands, and new product developments.

Coordinate closely with the operations, logistics, and accounts teams to ensure timely order processing and smooth delivery.

Maintain accurate sales data, including visit reports, lead tracking, and performance metrics.

Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and promotional events to generate new leads and strengthen brand presence.

Train and mentor sales executives or field representatives within the assigned region.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Minimum 3 years of field sales experience in the Edgeband, Laminates, MDF, Plywood, or Modular Furniture industry.

Strong understanding of retail, OEM, and prime sales channels.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Highly self-driven, disciplined, and target-oriented individual.

Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and sales reporting.

Willingness to travel extensively across Bangalore and nearby markets.

Own two-wheeler and valid driving license preferred.
