Role Description ( Location- CHENNAI )

This is a full-time on-site role for an Area Sales Manager at Chai Waale in Chennai. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing sales operations, managing a team of sales representatives, developing sales strategies, and ensuring revenue targets are met. They will also be actively involved in building relationships with key clients and identifying new business opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the performance of 

    outlets

     in the assigned territory.
  • Implement 

    sales growth strategies

     and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure adherence to 

    SOPs, hygiene, and compliance

     across locations.
  • Develop and mentor 

    store managers

     to enhance team productivity.
  • Conduct periodic 

    store audits

     and 

    customer experience checks

    .
  • Collaborate with the marketing team for 

    local store promotions

    .
  • Manage 

    P&L responsibilities

     and optimize operational costs.
  • Report performance metrics and insights to 

    senior leadership

    .
  • Handle staffing, training, and conflict resolution for store teams.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience:

     3-7 years in an Area Manager/Operations role in QSR, F&B, or retail franchises.
  • Education:

     Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred).
  • Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in 

    inventory management, budgeting, and sales forecasting

    .
  • Ability to analyze data and drive performance improvements.
  • Excellent 

    communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution

     abilities.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to different store locations.
