Area Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

 Develop and execute sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets within the designated area. 

 Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales executives / representatives to maximize performance. 

 Identify new business opportunities, build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and channel partners. 

 Conduct regular market visits to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and market trends. 

 Collaborate with marketing, product, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless service and product availability. 

 Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management. 

 Manage distributor / dealer networks and ensure proper coverage of the assigned territory. 

 Handle escalations, resolve customer complaints promptly, and ensure customer satisfaction. 

 Organize and conduct product presentations, training sessions, and promotional activities. 

Qualifications & Skills:

 Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred). 

 Proven experience (typically 1-2 years) in sales. 

 Strong leadership and team management skills. 

 Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 

 Analytical mind-set with ability to use data for decision making. 

 Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools. 

•  Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
