Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven Area Sales Manager (ASM) to oversee and manage sales operations within a designated geographical area. The ASM will be responsible for driving sales targets, managing a team of sales executives/distributors, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring market growth through strategic planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve assigned targets.
• Manage and motivate the sales team within the area to achieve individual and team targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
• Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and adjust strategies as needed.
• Conduct regular market visits to ensure visibility and availability of products.
• Ensure timely collection of payments and manage credit limits.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to the sales team.
• Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for upper management.
• Coordinate with marketing, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Identify new business opportunities and potential areas for expansion.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
• Proven experience (5–10 years) in field sales.
• Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
