Job Description

In-house B2B marketing are skilled professionals responsible for businesses to generate leads, qualify prospects, and introduce services, acting as a crucial link between sales and marketing. Their roles involve extensive product knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to adhere to scripts and company messaging to drive brand awareness, build relationships with key decision-makers, and ultimately contribute to revenue growth.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation:

Initiate contact with potential business clients through cold calling to generate new interest in the company's products and services.

  • Prospect Qualification:

Qualify leads by asking key questions to determine if the prospect aligns with the company's ideal customer profile.

  • Relationship Building:

Build initial rapport with key decision-makers within target companies to establish a foundation for long-term sales opportunities.

  • Brand Awareness:

Serve as a brand representative, introducing the company and its offerings to new markets and target audiences.

  • Market Research:

Conduct market research by gathering information on customer preferences, industry trends, and competitors through customer interactions.

  • Database Maintenance:

Keep marketing and sales databases up-to-date by accurately recording information gathered during calls.

  • Sales Collateral Distribution:

Follow up on marketing campaigns by providing interested prospects with relevant sales collateral.

  • Special Promotion Participation:

Take orders or provide information for special promotions being offered to potential clients.

  • Script Adherence:

Follow pre-approved call scripts and have answers ready for potential questions to ensure consistent and effective communication.

Required Skills

The ability to articulate value propositions clearly and professionally to a business audience.
