Hiring: Area Sales Engineer (Full-Time, On-Site)

Role Overview

As an Area Sales Engineer

What you’ll do

  • Own regional revenue targets; build and manage a strong opportunity pipeline.
  • Liaise with distributors: joint visits, pricing support, inventory planning, and channel enablement.
  • Identify and convert new business across pharma, CROs, diagnostics, academia, and industrial labs.
  • Conduct product demos, trials, and technical presentations; translate specs into solutions.
  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues and coordinate resolutions with service/application teams.
  • Capture market intel (competition, pricing, tenders) and feed into monthly reports/forecasts.
  • Maintain CRM/sales records, submit timely MIS, and ensure on-time collections.


What you’ll bring

  • 2–6 years’ experience

     in 

    technical sales

     within 

    laboratory instruments/analytical equipment/scientific consumables

     (allied life-sciences industries considered).
  • Proven 

    Sales Engineering / Technical Sales

     track record with channel management exposure.
  • Strong 

    Technical Support

    Customer Service

    , and consultative selling skills.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication; confident presenter.
  • Self-driven, organized, and collaborative; comfortable working independently in the field.
  • Bachelor’s degree

     in Engineering, Science, or related field.
  • Prior experience handling pharma/diagnostics/academia key accounts is a plus.


Travel & Work Mode

  • On-site, field role with regular travel across the assigned territory.
