Area Sales Engineer

The Area Sales Engineer role at Engeotech Aqua Engineers requires you to play a crucial part in driving sales and advocating for our cutting-edge water management solutions in the designated region. Your primary responsibility will involve collaborating with clients to comprehend their needs and offering customized solutions to fulfill their expectations. Your duties will include identifying and cultivating new business prospects within the assigned area, fostering and nurturing strong relationships with both existing and potential clients, conducting product presentations and demonstrations to exhibit our solutions, as well as preparing and presenting sales proposals while engaging in contract negotiations. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure that client specifications are met, keep a close eye on market trends and competitor activities to discover fresh opportunities, and strive to achieve monthly and quarterly sales objectives. Post-sales, you will be expected to provide support and address any client inquiries that may arise. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil/Electrical) or a related field, along with a proven track record in sales, preferably within the engineering or water sector. A robust technical understanding of water management systems and solutions is essential, coupled with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to function effectively both independently and as part of a team, proficiency in CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite, as well as a willingness to travel as needed are also crucial requirements.
